Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I just started thinking about how to treat my boyfriend. He seems to appreciate it most when I place a tin of home baking in front of him. He bought me a baking book for Christmas so I'll take that as a hint. Now, finding the perfect card is not so easy. Having been together for a good few years now (and with knowing each other far longer than that) I feel like I've exhausted all the good cards, you know? When I discovered these chic black and white cards by Paper Society Co. (via The Sweetest Occasion) I instantly thought they were perfect, especially for boys. Love.

Ah I love these cards! Especially the third one.
ReplyDeleteThink that's my fave! Love the tongue in cheek humour.
DeleteThese are so original, I love them! I always struggle to pick my boyfriend a card as we've been together for 9 years this year...scary. Will definitely be giving this website a look in.

It gets harder every year!
DeleteAww, those are really nice. Not too mushy either. My boy and I will be celebrating our first Valentines together, and we've not been together very long, so all the super gushy cards just don't work for me. These are lovely though, just the right tone, and very classy looking.
ReplyDeletePerfect for a first valentines! Surely, any guy would be impressed.
DeleteOh, I love these. I decided to go with something similar last year made a card with a b&w illustration in the same vein! L x
ReplyDeleteYou've got good taste girl!
Deleteaww love these, especially the last one. i agree getting a card for a guy is a toughie, the whole card decorating thing is quite a girly concept and i always end up with a neither here nor there design when i try to make one myself. these seem perfect - cute, simple and not too girly!

These are lovely and some beautiful typography - I think I might still cringe if I got the final ones though haha!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Yes, valid point :)
DeleteThese are really nice because they're personal without being too soppy! I like the second and third ones best.

Aw these are lovely, Sofia! Sadly my love life is a shambles at the moment, but I'd imagine these would look adorable framed and popped up on the fireplace too! You have such an eye for finding the best little tidbits online. xx
ReplyDeleteOh no, I'm sorry to hear that michelle! :( but thank you for such a lovely compliment - perhaps I spend too much time online!
DeleteThese are much too nice for boys! Haha, I think they'd look lovely framed as a set on the wall too xx
ReplyDeleteI love them, so stylish and understated, but kind of romantic too :)

Loving the black and white. Could totally be used any day of the year!
ReplyDeleteVery smooth! I agree that these could be used any day, not just for Valentine's Day, although they work nicely for that as well. I'm not sure which one I think is the most stylish between the second and third. Those to are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteYou're right - they don't have to just be used on Valentine's Day... and they are pretty smooth aren't they! :)
DeleteLove black and white, it's my favourite combo! I'm definitely going to check these out, my boyfriend is a nightmare to buy for (especially cards!!) but these actually look like he will like them! Thanks! :)
