breakfast at my desk > alpro deskfest #4

Some great comments on yesterday's post. Thank you! Seems like you all loved the tiffin. Today I had the simplest breakfast there is - fruit and hard boiled egg. I usually have a few ready prepared boiled eggs in the fridge so that as soon as I need a snack it's there waiting. It also makes breakfast super quick and easy if this is done the night before. I need all the help I can get on these cold, dark mornings.

The star of the show today was definitely Alpro's hazelnut drink, which has a unique (but lovely) taste and creamy texture. It tastes really quite decadent, but is actually pretty healthy and made a nice alternative to tea and coffee.

p.s. thanks for allowing me to indulge my 'foodie' side these past few days. I definitely couldn't be a food blogger - I'm already itching to talk about beauty and clothes again :) Be back soon.

  3. You're so organised. I used to do the egg thing for salads but when the colder weather comes around I have soup and hot food for lunch.

I love fruit but can never manage it first thing.

    Loving the food posts! :)

  5. Hazelnut drink is what I use instead of milk. I'm trying to go vegan but I've recently came to the conclusion that my body just doesn't appreciate soya! So hazlenut is now what gets mixed in with my porridge nom nom!
