breakfast at my desk > alpro deskfest #1

granola / strawberries / blueberries / vanilla pouring mild & creamy : c/o alpro / diary : paperchase / phone case : cath kidston

Alpro recently asked me to take part in their #deskfest challenge. For the next five days I'll be sharing the breakfast I ate at my desk each day and yes, that means I'm working this Saturday and Sunday. No fair! Alpro produce a range of dairy free alternatives to milk, yoghurt and even desserts. I was excited to get involved because I've been mostly dairy free for the best part of the last twelve months and feel so much better for it. It's a pleasure to try out their products and attempt to be a little more creative with my breakfasts. I'm also glad of the accountability as I keep up with my January health kick! Some time ago I shared what I ate for lunch at my desk for a week and had some great feedback so I'm hoping you'll be interested in this too.

Today's breakfast was absolutely delicious - granola, a layer of blueberries, lashings of Alpro's pouring yoghurt (vanilla flavour but very mild and super tasty) and a topping of strawberries.

Check back tomorrow for another breakfast idea!

  2. Every time I go to Tesco's, I stand in front of the alpro milk variations and I never dare to buy something exciting like almond or vanilla milk, because I always think "what if I don't like it with my cereal?" but I decide, now, that I will buy an exciting milk next time I go grocery shopping. I will, I swear. Because it looks DELICIOUS!

  10. I try to go completely dairy free but I can never find dairy free cheese in Morrisons! And I am a complete cheese fiend.

I really like soya milk and other milk alternatives which taste lovely on cereal and such.

    1. Jeez, lighten up a little! Nobody is forcing you to read ;-)

If you'd actually read the post you'd note that I did something very similar last year with no brand involvement at all. In the right sidebar you'll see I have a whole category just for food. This brand was highly relevant to me and it's a FUN project. You know, FUN?

I'm guessing you must not watch any television or youtube videos and you definitely don't go to the cinema. You don't read magazines and newspapers or use facebook and twitter. You tape up your letterbox and you keep your head down whilst walking past billboards. Right? Since you find advertising so offensive and all.
