CJG (Chloe Jade Green) Shoes for Topshop were released today with prices starting from £115 and available to purchase at Topshop or CJG. What's your verdict? I nearly always feel entirely underwhelmed by these types of collaborations and this is probably no exception. I'd be interested to see the quality in person because those are some really pricy shoes.
Some of the shoes are really gorgeous but I can't help but think the green sole is completely tacky, your not Louboutin. I also don't think they are worth that price for a shoe that is Topshop through and through.
ReplyDeleteFYI Louboutin soles are red. Leave her alone, I'd like to see you design a better shoe! Collections items are usually more expensive than a brand's own, not sure where you've been shopping. :)

ReplyDeleteI honestly don't understand how being the daughter of the owner of the Arcadia group qualifies her to design her own shoe range. They are way too overpriced and look impossible to walk in. Thumbs down from me!

ReplyDeleteShe's taken the "shoes I would wear" thought a bit too seriously. We know you're tiny but not all of us are and those heights are NOT practical. My ankles are practically crying looking at those heels!

We don't have a Topshop where I live (Canada), but I think I'd definitely purchase a pair of these new shoes if I had the chance. I like the photos, especially the final one. The heels are unique, yet not too extravagant to wear.

They are OK... not sure about the turquoise sole, when I heard they would be green I thought of a nice grass green, which would be classier, this one looks plasticy. Shoes not for me, as I am not 5 foot nothing and they would make me look like a horse. xxx

Honestly don't think their that amazing to have a starting price of over £100 but some do look lovely :)
ReplyDeleteMost of these do not seem to be worth the price tag, but I did like the "Tiger Lily" (the bootie in the third photo) and the "Misha" (the wedge in the last photo). However, upon looking up the heel height the "Tiger Lily" is 5.5 inches high and the "Misha" is a whopping 6.5 inches tall!! Six and a half inches! I am only 5'3 but walking in a six and a half inch heel, even a wedge, is far too precarious for me.
