Heavenly Girl Space #1

Since my boyfriend moved in with me I don't feel like I have the freedom to create 'girly' spaces of my own since each area of our home is just as much his as it is mine. As much as I love our house, I sort of miss my old apartment - I liked that I had the independence to do with it whatever I wished. One day I'd like more rooms. I'd commandeer one for myself and transform it into something ultra girly. Check these out and you'll come close to what I mean...

Notice how filled with light all these images are? I'm so ready for spring!

  6. I can not wait to get my room sorted, I also want to paint the bathroom. We have zero space, so I know it won't be as fab as these but you can't beat a fresh lick of paint on walls. I love your home posts xx

  9. If those decors are considered ultra-girly, then my future husband is just going to have to deal with that :)

  11. I totally see where you're coming from.. I share a home with my bf and sometimes I just wish i had free reign to make it girly without upsetting anyone lol

  12. Ohh! I love that teal-framed mirror! It's hard to decorate and mesh two people's styles, especially if you're both very different. Thankfully my husband let's me decorate our place how I want and doesn't complain :)

  18. This looks amazing! I honestly never thought about having to change the look of shared spaces when you live with your male significant other. All those pretty things do have to leave I guess....

  28. I currently live by myself and LOVE it. I like making the most of it now 'cause I know it may not last forever (I once lived with an ex, so know how annoying sharing a space can be). My flat right now is fairly girly with my kitchen clearly belonging to someone who likes to bake!
