Hi guys! Long time no speak! I've had the weirdest ten days full of annoyances and quite bad news. It all started off with a smashed laptop screen - never leave your laptop by your bed then stand on it. It'll end in tears, I promise you. My baby is still away for repair but should be back Monday so I'll finally be able to hit publish on various fun posts I'd been working on.
A little light at the end of the tunnel came on Wednesday when I learnt that this blog was awarded 'Highly Commended' at the Cosmo Blog Awards. Cool, right? I never expected to be nominated, let alone shortlisted so it came as a huge surprise to realise that quite a few of you must have voted to keep the dream alive! It was such a shame I couldn't make the event (damn you, full time job!) - it sounded truly fabulous. Milly posted a cute round up if you fancy a read and you can view the winners HERE.

That is terrible about your screen! I alway leave mine on the floor beside the bed too! I have lightly stepped on it a few times. I scream every time I do haha but luckily it's never broken. Touch wood.
