Those of you who follow me on twitter or facebook may already know that I've been shortlisted for a Cosmo Blog Award in the 'Lifestyle' category. I can't even put into words how amazed I am that this happened and that enough of you nominated me. The shortlist contains a selection of brilliant blogs written by people I admire and look up to. To find myself amongst these people is unfathomable.
I want to express my gratitude to all of my readers (I couldn't blog without you!) but especially those who were kind enough to nominate. You rock. I figured that as you took the time to fill out that online form then I should put a little effort into saying thank you so I drew up the words and set up my tripod and self timer. I wasn't feeling super creative - that's all I've got! Thank you! Seriously - thank you!
So what happens now? Shortlisted bloggers can invite their readers to vote.
Voting is open until 17th October and if you have 10 seconds to spare you can do that right HERE. You need to enter your email address in the box on that page and press 'continue'. From there you'll be met with a list of 14 categories. You'll find me within 'Lifestyle Blog with Handpicked Media' (6th button down). Hover over the Sofia's Journal button and click to vote!
Have a peek around each of the categories and you'll find some lovely blogs. They deserve your vote!
