I love where I live and I'm grateful every day to have a home to call my own. The only thing that niggles me is my overwhelming desire for desk space. A small nook would have done just fine but in this tiny one bedroom flat there's no nook to be found. My desk would be white. It would nestle beneath a large window through which lots of light would shine. I'd display a vision board and list of goals yet to be achieved. There would be fresh flowers and pots of brightly coloured pens. My favourite art prints and black and white photos would adorn the surrounding walls. You'd find a stack of ancient books, the latest Anthropologie catalogue, a vintage camera and an old typewriter. I'd be in heaven.

I'd love a desk like that! But in reality, it would be littered with mugs half full of tea, odd bits of paper and blu tack monsters! X
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain - I have a whole pinboard littered with beautiful desks of my dreams http://pinterest.com/oh_gosh/office-envy/ - now just to convince the boy to change his habit of creating mountains of crap on his desk before I move in.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it all desk pictures, no matter how lovely, always look better with a Mac? I must invest :)

happy days. we are in the process of turning our spare room (currently used for dumping stuff!) into a workspace/spare room for people to stop over.
ReplyDeleteand as it happens the 2 images I loved the most are the 2 you have been able to link to. :)
A light bright room, and a white desk near one of the windows are top of my list! :) x
These photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have a little desk and I love it. It is ever so slightly cluttered but it's my little space.
ReplyDeleteI love photos of rooms, and these desk ones are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to have my own place & have a really gorgeous vintage looking 'pretty' desk, as I can't fit one in the room I'm in now
xx
I love these photos, i've been longing for the same thing. I have a desk in my spare room, under a window which is tiny and doesn't let in much light. The room is small, dark and cramped, with lots of things in so it isn't even a comfomrtable work space, let alone somewhere I can make look pretty like any of these.
ReplyDeleteUntil there is space I too will just be lusting xx

Ooh amazing pictures! I have a desk but my room is so small I can't actually sit at it, i sit on my bed at one side of my desk just to use the computer and the rest of it is taken up by my printer and various jewellery supplies. I loooong for a huge white room with wooden floors and lots of desks.
ReplyDeleteOoh so intrigued about the giveaway!
I love the pictures I love seeing peoples bedrooms I wish mine looked like them any of them I'm also with you on the wanting a desk ever since I really got into blogging I have wanted one I might need a little move around at home.

ReplyDeleteI especially love the last one. The teddies are cute and I love the little display cupboard above the bed. My room doesn't have space for a desk either )':

ReplyDeleteI'm not the worlds neatest person but I think I'd get quite obsessive if I had a desk like that they're beautiful. Unfortunately my desk area consists of a woodden slab, an ugly white board, uni work and lots of rubbish =\
