In case you missed it... I posted a give-away earlier today. Good luck!
1. M&S Limited Collection boots. Within the last edition of The Sunday Click List I expressed my overwhelming desire to purchase these Aldo boots. The following few days involved a never ending mental struggle as to whether I could possibly justify £95 given a goal I announced to the world recently to clear my credit card. Luckily these M&S boots (£35 - in store only) caught my attention and I concluded that they would satisfy my craving until the day I dream only of gladiator sandals and open toe wedges.
2. My Ikea Godmorgon bathroom cabinet (snatched up on our recent trip to ikea) is up - I mentioned at the bottom of my 2011 goals post that this was on my to-do list for January so I'm pleased to tick it off. It's storage heaven! Photos next week, I promise.
3. Homemade vegetable soup: I've experimented with several recipes and now have a tried and tested favourite. The recipe and photographic evidence that I can 'cook' will be posted next week. And no, I am not a domestic goddess. This is almost as easy as opening a can of soup; plus it's infinitely cheaper, tastier and healthier.4. Filming videos. My boyfriend & I have a really strange habit of recording complete and utter nonsense and our own random goofiness on our iPhones. occasionally, a video turns out to be pure comedic genius and replaying it provides endless hours of entertainment. I urge you to try it if you don't already! I also recorded a flat tour yesterday - it actually turned out pretty good (although it was crazy to hear the sound of my own voice) and it made me realise how completely one dimensional blogging is. I'm undecided as to whether or not to publish it but it does show my home and who I am in a far better way than photographs and words ever could.5. No. 7 High Shine Lip Gloss in 'Smile'. Purchased this on a whim today after the checkout girl tempted my with one of those £5 vouchers Boots dish out now and then. Paid £4. Had few expectations. Instantly fell in love. Your natural lip, only better.
What now? Leave me a comment and tell me what you're lovin' this week! You can also follow me on bloglovin', tweet me or enter my giveaway.

I really like those boots. I don't think I could justify spending £95 on a pair of boots, well I probably could but it would hurt and I probably would feel a bit sick afterwards. I truly hate that mental struggle that goes on inside our heads when we cant make our minds up about a purchase!
ReplyDeleteGlad I found your blog through zoe xx
I got some boots like that which were limited edition, looked exactly like your but a lighter brown/grey colour. They are probably in one of my haul posts :/ But I prefer your colour! I think mine were £45 too, darn. hehe.

ReplyDeleteLove the boots! I don't think i could ever personally spend £95 on a pair of shoes but i think if you really want something you should get it. I'm just not a shoe person as such. I never think to venture into M&S but i might do after you've found these little beauts! I'd love you to show your flat, it's great to see other peoples interior ideas and get inspiration for when i eventually move into my own place! xx

ReplyDeletemaking soup is so much cheaper and tastier than tinned stuff! i always make my own soup and my colleagues call me 'nigella' and say i never buy anything readymade, but it's so much healthier than bought stuff and SO easy to make!
ReplyDeletei think you should post the video - mostly because i know all of us are nosy and love to have an 'inside snoop', haha. elle xx
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the photos. As soon as I get round to painting my ensuite I am getting one of those cabinets. I also have the wardrobe from your previous post as my second wardrobe and take my outfit photos in front of it, it's a great size. I enjoy baking but not cooking so much but my Mum bought me a soup recipe book for Christmas and I think it's about time I started using it xx
