You know how I love photography, right? Well, I spend a lot of time admiring the work of 'real' photographers - those talented people who clearly know the difference between aperture and shutter speed. I, on the other hand, have become increasingly reliant on my point and shoot, which does everything for me. To make proper use of my DSLR is on my bucket list, girls. As soon as I have the time and a little spare cash I'll be sure to take some lessons and learn more. I definitely want to learn more.
In the meantime I'll continue to marvel at the various photoshoots I stumble across online and dream of a day when I can produce something half as pretty. Most recently I discovered Anna, the lovely lady behind the blog Anna With Love (a photo diary). Anna was kind enough to let me share with you a photoshoot of hers that I particularly loved. Enjoy!

Stunning photos. I have a basic digital SLR (Canon 1000D) but am ashamed to say that I use the automatic mode most of the time. Need to take that leap to use the more creative settings. Thanks for sharing (& Anna - LOVE the photos).

I love these photos. Maybe you could buy a manual camera, an old film one, to help learn more about photography. A photography course would be fun though; I did an A Level and it was amazing learning all about the darkroom and how to process your own photos. You only need a little know how to start having lots more fun with photography,

I am the same; I've got a DSLR too and I've become massively reliant on the auto mode...however I've just started photography lessons so hopefully I will soon be a pro!
