When I picked up my MUA lipstick from Superdrug I also grabbed a couple of these NYC New York Colour quick dry nail varnishes. this one is 'Penn Station' - a gorgeous berry red shade that is almost identical to the Shellac colour Red Baroness which I had applied at the nail salon just before Christmas. If you're unfamiliar with Shellac check out this video. The top photo is a better representation of the colour. I think it's perfect for this time of year and is the classiest red I've seen.
This was my first time using NYC polish and I was completely amazed by how much I enjoyed the application process. Something about the brush and the consistency made it so effortless. I can say without hesitation that this is the best nail polish I've ever used - it was easy for me to get a perfect finish and I reckon you'll notice that from the photo. Nor does it chip easily - in comparison to other brands I found it long lasting. I also LOVE that this actually does dry super quickly, just as it claims.
The price point of £2.59 is proof in itself that holy grail beauty finds are not always to be found from high end ranges. Whilst I love the the endless range of amazing colours offered by OPI and Essie I enjoyed using this product far more. The only negative - there are hardly any shades to choose from.

lol. that is too funny. I rarely paint my nails so I don't have too many bottles of nyc, but its about 99cents here. I think thats something like .678 euros. lol. Its pretty good stuff. I have it in silver, purple, and cerulean.
