i've mentioned a few times now that i'll be moving out of my parent's home soon. i lived away for uni but i've been back at their house for three years and i'm desperate to move on. since i hit 25 i'm in a huge rush to progress with my life and finally get my own space. i can't wait to put my stamp on a place and make a home. i've set september or october as my moving out date as i need this time to save up enough for the first month's rent, deposit and some furniture. i guess i shouldn't be shopping at all. meh. whatever.
today, i did something stupid. really stupid. i'm annoyed with myself for doing it...
i started looking at flats (online). i wanted one in a converted property (not a modern apartment) and that's what i found. it's in my price range, in the exact location i want to be, with big bay windows, new bathroom, new kitchen, new flooring, completely redecorated. but i can't have it 'cause i'm not ready to move yet. why, oh why did i look?!!

Oo it's gorgeous, fingers crossed there will be something similar available when you're looking to rent. I did the same the other day, one year before I'm going to be looking to rent a flat and I found the perfect one. Very annoying!

Isn't it awful!! I'm so bummed. It's the location more than anything...but an extra bonus that the inside is all clean and tidy. oh well, what will be will be. Where are you going to be renting a flat?
