i first heard of madewell in 2008 and have taken notice of their collections ever since. jessica alba is a fan and whenever i see her in one of their printed dresses i wish the brand would follow the likes of abercrombie and hollister and open a store in the UK.
back in february when alexa chung announced that she'd be collaborating with madewell and releasing a collection for fall 2010 i wasn't at all surprised - the madewell aesthetic (classic cuts and vintage inspired prints) fits seemlessly with alexa's highly coveted style.
as i'm in the UK i guess this is another collection that i'll simply have to hanker after from afar. having said that, it's still useful to look over the offering to get some fashion inspiration - it's an easy way to learn new options for styling classic pieces. take a look and let me know what you think:

Amazing pieces, very versatile. If you have trouble finding some brands imagine me that I live on the other side of the world! haha I know that feeling a lot. Fortunately now we can shop online most of the things but of course is not the same to go to the store and try it on and the shipping prices can be a bit excessive sometimes.
