1. mumford & sons. LOVE them.
i'm pretty much obsessed with one song - 'the cave' - it makes me happy and smiley and i always sing along. it's my summer anthem. some of my friends managed to get tickets for their upcoming UK tour, but unfortunately i wasn't so lucky. i love their style and the fact that they're british.
2. comedy
on tuesday evening i went to remedy in fallowfield, manchester for their award winning 'XS Malarkey' comedy night. each week they showcase some of the best, up and coming, comedy acts. if you're ever in the manchester area you should definitely check it out - entry is only a fiver! laughter is the best therapy.
3. finally seeing eclipse
this week i finally got to see film #3 in the twilight saga ~ eclipse. as cheesy as these movies are i can't help but love the story. i'm always in awe of the scenery and it really makes me want to visit the pacific north west. lots of shirtless jacob is quite nice too.
4. real people opening up about real issues
i read a lot of blogs. one i read is by a twenty-something food blogger named whit. just this week i came across a post she wrote where she opened up about her battle with depression. i loved this post. i love that she was brave enough to write about something so surrounded by stigma and judgement just so that she could help other people. kudos to her. it's a must read, whether you've been affected by depression or not. go read it.
5. eating out
this week, while i'm on holiday, i'm indulging in one of my favourite leisure activities: eating out. i'm a foodie. i love good food. i wish all girls could make friends with food and enjoy it without guilt.
what are you lovin' this week?
